Degrees: B.A. Social and Political History
As a historian, I believe we must understand gender and the structures built around it in order to participate in society, and to improve it. My senior thesis, “Reevaluating the Pension System: The Struggles of Black Widows Following the Civil War,” focused on the gender-based discrimination of the U.S. Government.
